FEATURE Supports reuse of process assets and organizational operations

Next Design enables design efficiency and quality assurance by defining the contents equivalent to conventional design templates as "profiles" and using them in design. For example, the structure and notation of design contents are defined as profiles for each process or product line, such as requirements definition, design, and testing. In other words, a profile is a process asset in which the knowledge of the design site is concentrated. Although a profile suited to the target project is required to start designing with Next Design, the necessary profile can be tailored quickly and easily by simply combining the profiles that have been created in advance as components. It also supports customization of design item names, etc., to suit the design site, as well as following profile revisions by the organization, to support an organized profile operation cycle.

  • Profile definition by combining components

By combining profiles into parts for each work process or product line, you can quickly and easily define the profiles needed for a project.
Multiple versions of profiles can be managed, and the version of a profile to be used can be specified for each project.
Profiles can also be published in shared folders, making it easy to distribute profiles throughout the organization.

  • Customize profiles to suit your site

The componentized profiles can be reused in multiple projects and customized to suit the site, thereby absorbing differences from project to project.
Profile customization enables matching of design item names and selection of information to be designed.
Merging of profiles is also supported, allowing flexible modification of profiles.

  • Maintain customization and keep up with profile revisions

When an organization revises its profile to a newer version, you can easily update your field profiles.
You can follow the organization's profile revision while maintaining the content customized for your site.
Before reflecting profile revisions in a project, you can check the differences in profile changes and determine when to reflect them.
