Release of System and Software Design Tool "Next Design V3.1"
with Support for Importing Existing UML/SysML Models

DENSO CREATE INC. (Headquarters: Naka-ku, Nagoya; President: Hiroaki Miyagawa), which develops a wide range of embedded software solutions for automotive applications, will begin offering "Next Design V3.1," the latest version of its next-generation system and software design tool, on August 30, 2023. Alongside this release, a free evaluation version will also be available to allow users to experience the new features firsthand.

Next Design allows you to create a dedicated design tool by defining a "meta-model" that outlines the structure and relationships of design information across various phases, and "view definitions" in the form of diagrams and documents tailored to the perspectives and purposes of the development site. This enables organizations to consolidate traditional specifications and design documents—previously created in Word/Excel or UML/SysML—into a single tool tailored to their specific design methods and processes. It facilitates organization-wide sharing of design data while maintaining traceability. Since its launch in 2020, it has been widely adopted across diverse industries, not only in automotive but also in electrical machinery and more.

The latest version, "Next Design V3.1," enables the import of UML/SysML diagrams created in the modeling tool Enterprise Architect, allowing you to effectively utilize existing design assets. It also includes new features requested by development teams, such as improved usability for sequence diagrams and rich text editing.
