DENSO CREATE INC. (Headquarters: Nagoya, Aichi; President: Eimei Miyagawa) will exhibit at the 31st Software & App Development Expo (SODEC), part of Japan IT Week Spring 2022, held at Tokyo Big Sight from April 6 (Wed) to April 8 (Fri), 2022, showcasing "Next Design," a design tool that supports the development of large-scale and complex systems and software by driving the digital transformation of on-site design processes.
We will also be exhibiting the workload and project management tool TimeTracker NX and the design review support tool Lightning Review.
Our booth will feature three products: "Next Design", "TimeTracker NX", and "Lightning Review".
During the exhibition, visitors can connect online with members of our product development and support teams stationed at our offices, who will introduce our respective products.

■ System and Software Design Tool "Next Design"
This is a next-generation design tool tailored for embedded systems and software. By leveraging a meta-model to define development characteristics, you can define the visual appearance of deliverables through views and customize the tool specifically for your development environment.
It promotes the digital transformation and unification of scattered design information in large-scale distributed development, while supporting design quality and efficiency through diverse features such as traceability and product lines.
Since its release in September 2020, it has been adopted by numerous users, particularly in the automotive industry.
Next Design V2.0, which received a major version update this January, will be exhibited for the first time at this event.
■ Workload and Project Management Tool "TimeTracker NX"
This tool supports business improvement by making workloads and project management transparent. With simple drag-and-drop operations, you can enter work hours in just one minute. Continuously logging work hours accumulates highly accurate workload data. This provides visibility into actual on-site operations and helps identify opportunities for improvement.
Since its release in 2004, it has been used across a wide range of industries, with a track record of over 80,000 users to date.
At this event, we will be showcasing for the first time "TimeTracker NX Sync," a new integration feature with other systems scheduled for release this spring.
■ Design Review Support Tool "Lightning Review"
This tool supports daily review activities in development environments. Review comments and modification results can be recorded directly, ensuring that feedback is communicated accurately. It prevents oversights in reviews and revisions, thereby supporting the improvement of deliverable quality.
Since its release in September 2017, it has been used by over 13,000 users, primarily in software and hardware development environments.
Measures for Preventing COVID-19 Infections
At our booth, we plan to implement the following measures to prevent COVID-19 infections and droplet spreading:
- Equipment such as PCs and mice will be regularly disinfected with alcohol.
- Staff members will thoroughly check conditions beforehand, including body temperature measurements, and will assist visitors while wearing face shields and masks.
At the exhibition, we will hold a PR seminar according to the schedule below.
We will introduce product demonstrations focusing on system development with digitized design data via Next Design, as well as business visualization and improvement using TimeTracker NX.
