System and Software Design Tool Next Design

DENSO CREATE INC. (Headquarters: Nagoya, Aichi; President: Eimei Miyagawa) will exhibit the Next Design software and system design tool—which supports the digital transformation of on-site design processes for large-scale, complex systems and software development—at EdgeTech+ 2022, held at Pacifico Yokohama from November 16 (Wed) to 18 (Fri), 2022.
We will also be exhibiting the TimeTracker NX workload and project management tool TimeTracker NX alongside the Lightning Review review support tool Lightning Review.

Our booth will feature three products: "Next Design", "TimeTracker NX", and "Lightning Review".

■ System and Software Design Tool "Next Design"

A next-generation design tool for embedded systems and software. By defining development characteristics using metamodels and the appearance of deliverables through views, you can customize the tool specifically for your development environment.
In addition to promoting the digital transformation and centralization of design information that tends to become fragmented in large-scale distributed development, it supports improved design quality and efficiency through a wide range of features such as traceability and product lines.
Released in September 2020, it has been adopted by numerous users, primarily in the automotive industry.

■ Workload and Project Management Tool "TimeTracker NX"

A tool that supports business improvement by making workload and project management visible. With simple drag-and-drop operations, you can enter your workload in just about one minute. Continuing to enter workload accumulates highly accurate actual workload data. This allows you to understand the actual conditions on-site and grasp opportunities for improvement.
Since its release in 2004, it has been used across a wide range of industries, with a track record of over 80,000 users.
We will also showcase TimeTracker NX Sync, which enables bidirectional integration between Jira and Redmine tickets and TimeTracker NX.

■ Design Review Support Tool "Lightning Review"

A tool that supports the daily review activities conducted in development environments. Comments and modification results can be recorded directly, ensuring that details are communicated reliably. It also helps prevent omissions in reviews, points, and corrections, supporting improvements in deliverable quality.
Since its release in September 2017, it has been used by over 13,000 users, mainly in software development and hardware design environments.
We will be exhibiting Lightning Review 2.0, which received a major version update this August, for the first time at this exhibition.

Measures for Preventing COVID-19 Infections

At our booth, we plan to implement the following measures to prevent COVID-19 infections and droplet spreading:

Equipment such as PCs and mice will be regularly disinfected with alcohol.
Staff members will thoroughly check their temperature beforehand and assist visitors while wearing face shields or masks.

We will be holding seminars at the exhibition according to the schedule below.
We will introduce the impact of Lightning Review on development sites and next-generation system development using Next Design, accompanied by product demonstrations.
