Announcement: Webinar on New Features in "Next Design"
V5, a System and Software Design Tool

We are pleased to announce a webinar introducing the new features of "Next Design V5," the next-generation design tool that digital transformation design digital transformation.

Since its launch in 2020, Next Design—which many of you have adopted—has undergone a major version update to V5. Based on technologies honed in the automotive industry’s embedded software development field and incorporating the insights we have accumulated at the forefront of in-vehicle software development, we have condensed these capabilities into Next Design V5 in a form that can be leveraged across all industries. We are introducing new, ready-to-use packages for embedded software development, making it easier to adopt the solution across a wide range of development environments. Furthermore, this major version update enables high productivity from the very start, thanks to design support through AI integration and numerous feature improvements based on feedback from the field.

We would like to share these new features with you, so in this seminar, we will introduce the new features added in V5 through live demonstrations.

Please note that this seminar will begin with an introduction to the concepts and features of Next Design so that even those who are not yet familiar with it can participate. Key Points of the V5 Major Version Update

1. Quick Start with Embedded Software Development Packages

To help anyone get started smoothly with embedded software design, we have developed a new suite of packages designed to be immediately effective in the field. As a base package ready for immediate use in embedded software development across all industries, we have systematized the V-model process and its deliverables. In addition to UML/SysML and timing charts, our lineup includes standard design methodologies such as flowcharts, DFDs, FMEA, FTA, and USDM. We have significantly reduced the time and cost required for initial setup when implementing Next Design, allowing you to experience the benefits of the system in your design environment more quickly.

2. AI-Assisted Design for Efficient, High-Quality Embedded Software Development

Through seamless AI integration with our proprietary "DC Agentiqs" (*)—an AI agent platform that supports engineers across all engineering disciplines—we provide powerful support for tasks that previously relied on experienced engineers, such as design leveraging on-site expertise, design reviews aligned with specific criteria, and domain-specific profile definitions. The UI integrated into Next Design enables users to receive AI assistance in various design scenarios, helping to accelerate the entire design process and improve quality.

3. Improving practicality by incorporating feedback from the field

Based on extensive feedback from customers using Next Design, we have enhanced its usability and practicality. An extension that supports importing ReqIF—an international standard format for exchanging requirements data between tools—allows you to effortlessly import customer requirements. Bookmark frequently used display states to reproduce the models and views shown in the main and sub-editors with a single click. We have also further enhanced daily work efficiency and user comfort in other ways.
