[Advance Notice] Important notes regarding the Next Design V5.0 update
This notice is intended for the following users:

- For those developing extensions for V4.0
Thank you for using Next Design on a regular basis.
We are planning to release "Next Design V5.0," a major update to the next-generation system and software design tool Next Design, around June 2026. V5.0 will feature new functionalities designed to further enhance productivity and quality in design environments, such as packages tailored for embedded software development and AI integration. Stay tuned.
Ahead of the release, we would like to provide some important notes regarding the update to V5.0.
Please note that action may be required even if you choose not to update to V5.0 and instead continue developing extensions for V4.0. Please review the details below.
a) For those updating to V5.0
There will be changes such as the discontinuation of database format support and updates to extension contents. Please check the following page for details.
b) For those continuing to use V4.0
If you are developing extensions for V4.0 without updating to V5.0 and wish to continue using V4.0, you may need to update the settings of your extension development project. Please check the following page for details.
